My Story
Inspiration
I am happiest when I am creating something new. Inspiration for new projects usually comes from places I have traveled or from places and things I want to see.
I have been inspired to paint a wide variety of subjects including beaches and sea life, exotic birds and plants, as well as the scenery and wildlife of my home in North Texas.
Style
My art style is heavily influenced by nature and the beauty of the world around me. I strive to capture the essence of my subjects and bring them to life on canvas. I create images in water color, acrylics, oil, and mixed media. I enjoy learning new techniques and experimenting with different materials.
About me
I have always enjoyed drawing and expressing myself creatively. I am an artist, wife, mother, and grandmother. I have been an elementary school teacher for 30 years, painting during summers and weekends. I find joy in creating vibrant colorful art.
